12F MTPĀ® (Male) -LC Fan-out 0.9mm 30cm cables

This series products are Engineered for high-density data center environments, this 12F MTPĀ® (Male) to LC Fan-out cable serves as a critical transition link for MTP-LC LGX module cassettes. Featuring a single 12-fiber MTPĀ® Male connector that seamlessly breaks out into individual LC interfaces via 0.9mm tight-buffered legs, it maximizes port utilization within compact rack spaces.

The precisely calibrated 30cm fan-out length is tailored to fit the internal architecture of LGX cassettes, preventing cable clutter and ensuring optimal bend radius management. Each assembly is factory-terminated and 100% optically tested to guarantee minimal insertion loss and exceptional signal integrity.

In practical applications, this plug-and-play solution is extensively deployed to bridge high-density MTPĀ® trunks with traditional LC patch panels or active equipment. It is widely utilized in 40G and 100G parallel optics deployments, enabling seamless connectivity between spine switches, top-of-rack servers, and storage arrays. By eliminating the need for on-site fiber splicing, it significantly accelerates deployment timelines and provides a streamlined, future-proof pathway for migrating legacy LC infrastructure to high-capacity MTPĀ® backbone networks.

Application

Cassette1Cassette2

  1. Data Center High-Speed Migration:Ā Essential for upgrading legacy 10G networks toĀ 40G (QSFP+) and 100G (QSFP28)Ā architectures. The MPO end connects to the high-speed switch, while the LC ends distribute signals to break-out modules or legacy equipment.
  2. Server Rack Interconnects:Ā TheĀ 30cm lengthĀ is specifically designed for “Top-of-Rack” (ToR) switching environments, connecting patch panels to servers without excess cable clutter, improving airflow and cooling efficiency.
  3. Fiber-to-the-Antenna (FTTA):Ā In telecom infrastructure, these cables connect remote radio heads to baseband units, where space is limited and durability is required.
  4. Test and Measurement:Ā Ideal for lab environments where technicians need to quickly adapt MPO-based test equipment to standard LC interfaces for debugging optical links.
