24F SM Armored MTP Trunk Cable -3.5mm
The 24-fiber single-mode armored MTP-MTP trunk cable is an ultra-high-density optical interconnect engineered for next-generation data center and telecom backbones. Terminated with dual-row 24F MTP connectors on both ends, it delivers maximum fiber density while the armored 3.0mm cable ensures superior mechanical protection for customizable long-reach deployments.
Description
Design Principles
Armored 3.0mm Construction. The cable integrates a stainless steel interlock armor layer providing ≥440 N/10 cm crush resistance, rodent protection, and impact resistance. The 3.0mm outer diameter balances rugged durability with optimal cable tray fill efficiency, eliminating the need for external conduits in exposed runs.
Dual-Row MTP Technology. Utilizes a precision-molded dual-row MT ferrule housing 24 single-mode fibers in a 2×12 array. Stainless steel guide pins ensure sub-micron alignment, available in Type A/B/C polarity per TIA-568.2 to support complex parallel optical architectures.
Single-Mode Performance. Equipped with ITU-T G.652D/G.657A2 fibers (≤0.20 dB/km at 1550 nm) for extended reach up to 80+ km. MTP connectors achieve ≤0.25 dB insertion loss and ≥60 dB return loss (APC ≥65 dB). 100% tested via IEC 61300-3-35 interferometry.
Environmental Compliance. LSZH/OFNP jackets meet IEC and NFPA flame/smoke standards. Operating temperature: -20°C to +70°C.

Benefits of Armored Fiber Patch Cable
Common fiber optic cable is fragile, which needs to be protected, especially when in harsh applications where cables could be compromised by rodents, constant wear and tear or weather damage. Armored fiber patch cable retains all the features of standard fiber cable but is much stronger due to its extra layers of armor. With the protection of flexible and durable steel tube, armored fiber patch cable will ensure the excellent operation of your network.
