8cores MPO Female to 4x LC Duplex harness Cables assemblies
The 8-fiber MPO-LC breakout patch cord is a high-density fiber optic solution designed to bridge the gap between multi-fiber backbone infrastructure and individual fiber end devices. Featuring an MPO multi-fiber connector on one end and 4pcs of LC Duplex connectors on the other, this cable provides a seamless transition from high-capacity trunk systems to standard single-fiber equipment.
Design Principles
The cable utilizes a compact 2.0mm outer diameter design for each individual fiber branch, significantly reducing cable bulk and improving airflow management in high-density rack environments. The MPO connector integrates eight optical fibers within a single ferrule, enabling rapid deployment and reducing installation time by up to 75% compared to traditional individual fiber patching.
Each breakout leg is constructed with bend-insensitive G.657A2 or OM3 or OM4 or OM5 fiber, minimizing signal loss at tight bend radii commonly encountered in patch panels and cable management systems. The LC connectors feature ceramic ferrules with PC/UPC/APC polishing for low insertion loss (≤0.3dB) and high return loss performance.
The breakout section is reinforced with aramid yarn strength members and a flexible yet durable outer jacket, ensuring mechanical reliability during installation and long-term operation
