24cores MPO Female to 12x CS Duplex harness Cables assemblies
The 24-Core MPO to CS Harness Cable is an advanced, high-density fiber optic breakout assembly designed to bridge high-capacity MPO backbone infrastructure with next-generation CS (Converged Standard) transceiver interfaces. By transitioning a single 24-fiber MPO trunk into 12 duplex CS channels, this assembly maximizes port density, optimizes rack space utilization, and ensures seamless migration to 400G and 800G Ethernet architectures.
- Trunk Interface: Terminated with a high-precision 24-fiber MPO/MTP connector (Male or Female), featuring stainless steel guide pins for sub-micron alignment accuracy and low insertion loss.
- Breakout Interface: Fans out into 24 individual CS duplex connectors. The CS form factor delivers a 50% smaller footprint than standard LC duplex connectors, significantly enhancing front-panel port density.
- Cable Architecture: Utilizes robust 2.0mm tight-buffered breakout legs, providing superior tensile strength, crush resistance, and bend performance compared to standard 0.9mm fibers.
- Fiber & Jacket Options: Available in OS2 Single Mode (Yellow), OM3/OM4 Multimode (Aqua), and Wideband OM5 (Lime Green). The outer jacket complies with LSZH or OFNR/OFNP fire safety ratings.
- Strain Relief & Identification: Features a reinforced, molded breakout fan-out kit for optimal strain relief. Each 2.0mm leg is individually laser-printed with sequential numbering for precise traceability.

CS Connector’s Details:

CS (Converged Standard) connector is an advanced Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) optical interface designed to overcome the physical limitations of traditional LC connectors in high-density environments. Featuring a compact footprint that is approximately 40% smaller than a standard LC duplex connector, the CS design effectively doubles the port density on front panels and patch panels.
Engineered for modern data centers, the CS connector utilizes a push-pull boot mechanism, which significantly improves usability and accessibility in tightly packed, high-density racks. A key innovation is its polarity reversal feature, allowing for quick and easy polarity switching without the need to re-terminate the fiber or twist the cables.
Delivering optical performance that meets or exceeds IEC and GR-326-CORE standards, the CS connector is the ideal physical layer solution for next-generation 400G and 800G Ethernet networks, AI/HPC clusters, and ultra-dense data center architectures where maximizing space and airflow is critical.
